About the game
Block Digger belongs to the place-and-clear family of block puzzles, but adds an excavation theme: you are digging through the board toward buried treasure. The rules take ten seconds to learn, yet keeping the board alive past your hundredth move is a job for a real strategist.
The key difference from Tetris: nothing falls and nothing rushes you. You calmly pick one of three blocks and decide where it goes. The difficulty is not in reflexes but in planning — greedy placement corners you fast, while patient play with room to spare builds long clearing streaks.
It is the perfect five-minute game that happily stretches into half an hour: every run begs to be longer than the last, and the high score begs to be beaten.
How to play
- Pick one of the three offered blocks.
- Drag it onto a free spot on the board.
- Fill rows and columns completely — finished lines clear away.
- Think ahead: keep room for the big blocks that may come next.
- The run ends when no block fits — survive as long as you can.
Features
- Ten-second rules with deep placement strategy.
- No timers, no falling pieces — pure calm planning.
- Combo bonuses for clearing several lines at once.
- An endless mode built around chasing your own record.
- Rated 4.7 on Google Play — one of the studio’s top performers.
